The
primary role of education and training systems, especially at university
level, is to impart the skills and competencies that their graduates
need for entry into the labour market. In order to do this, such
systems must continually adapt to the changing demands of our society,
and more particularly to the requirements of the business world.
The
Fortius project aims to help improve the vocational training of
University students and graduates from the Social Sciences. It does
so by aiding them to develop core competencies required by today’s
labour market. It contributes to setting up the most effective guidance
and training mechanisms for achieving their adaptation to the workforce,
and by acting as a complement to their prior university education.
